Over $40 Billion is spent on oral care annually, and 50 million pounds of US landfill waste is attributed to toothbrushes alone. 1 out of 3 people in the US believe that they are overdue for a check-up and/or have a dental issue.
We offer a line of modern, smart and sustainable products, including a toothbrush with detachable, biodegradable heads, a subscription plan that will save consumers time and money while also saving tons of plastic from landfills.
Goodwell + Co. has been serving paying customers for 12 months. Since February 2015, we have gained 1,500 subscribers with an average lifetime value of $150/annually. This has all been organic traffic and growth, we have not engaged in any paid advertising for our customer acquisition efforts beyond standard social media posts and earned media. In 2016 our goal is to expand our product line and start selling at retail locations and natural grocers across the nation. Funding the retail demand is the goal of this capaign, the money we raise with Kickfurther will help us fund our new product - SEA SALT + MINT Toothpaste.
This first offer is to fund our first order of the toothpaste. We currently have about 1/4 of it presold and we are looking to have the rest of it sold by the time we receive our shipment. With this kind of mass consumerism, even a small percentage of user adoption can generate millions of dollars in income.

Face-time & exposure. The brands that we are competing with have been around for literally decades and have saturated retail shelves around the globe. So how do we stand out and differentiate our brand, build credibility and acquire new customers?
Our strategy is collaboration.
Our first toothpaste is using Portland Oregon’s most popular salt, Jacobsen Salt Co. ( www.jacobsensalt.com ). Using the already established brand recognition of Jacobsen salt with millions of customers, we parlay that trustworthy and familiar name and introduce a new product to customers already sold on Jacobsen. This strategy has proven to work online, as well as on the retail shelf.
The Sea Salt + Mint toothpaste is made from natural ingedients, using hand harvested sea salt out of the Pacific Coast of Oregon. Think about the last time you had a mouth injury - what was the first thing you did? Gargled sea salt? Our holistic toothpaste harvested from the cold, pristine waters of Netarts Bay on the Oregon Coast. Salt & Mint is free of synthetic preservatives, flavors, colorants and ingredients. This unique toothpaste gently agitates your teeth and mouth with particles of salt minerals and helps reduce the build-up of tarter with regular brushing. Free of surfactants and fluoride, vegan, gluten free, not tested on animals, sustainably harvested, and 100% natural.
